OUR SERVICES

Pediatric occupational therapists examine and treat children with skills needed to perform functional daily living activities. They help children achieve independence and have a special emphasis on fine motor skills, self-help skills, self-care skills, attention, problem solving, socialization, and sensory integration. Our occupational therapists are fully licensed in the state they are working in, have extensive education along with up-to-date continuing education and undergo a background check prior to employment. Our occupational therapists work with all ages, all disabilities, and levels of children.

Pediatric speech therapists (or speech-language pathologists) examine and treat children with communication, speech, feeding, and swallowing difficulties. They help children to achieve age-appropriate or functional communication skills. Special emphasis is placed on speech, language (receptive and expressive), cognition, and feeding/swallowing. Our speech therapists are fully licensed in the state they are working in, have extensive education along with up-to-date continuing education, and undergo a background check prior to employment. Our speech therapists work with all ages, all disabilities, and levels of children.

Physical therapists use a variety of assessment and treatment techniques in order to identify not only areas of developmental concern, but also capitalize upon a child’s strengths in order to improve gross motor skills, functional mobility, strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, proprioceptive awareness, muscular and cardio-vascular endurance, and agility.  Many of our physical therapists are NDT certified, having undergone intensive training for the treatment of children with cerebral palsy and similar neuromuscular disorders.  Our physical therapists specialize in the treatment of children with developmental disabilities from ages birth to twenty-one, and will work with you and your family to help your child exceed expectations at home, at school, and in our community.
